Hi sports fans! So if you can see my background photo, that little lady in the white cap cheering is me. My name is Christie, and I have been a sports fan for most of my life. I absolutely suck at playing sports, for the most part. Suck, suck, suck. And though I'm not bad at the hitting part of beer-league softball, I still throw like a girl. Like a fantastic, super-awesome girl. But I always try and I always have fun.

I've done a lot of jobs, from ballroom dance instructor to operating room nurse (yeah, still have my RN license) to accountant, which I do now and love love love. But no jobs ever in sports. So my opinions here are just that - opinions. I think they're pretty solid though.

The bottom line is that I love watching anything from the Olympics to my dad's church league softball, and I want to open that world to people who aren't as familiar with it. I'm focusing on mainly Southern California teams, but I do stretch myself, especially in the playoffs, to learn about whatever teams remain, regardless of where they are from.

I seriously hope this site is helpful, and that it makes any trip to a game more fun. If I happen to post something useful, you can even use what I said as your own and totally sound like a badass with your friends.
