Christie Cho
Northampton, MA
Christie Cho is a Suzuki Certified Violin Instructor. She is a graduate of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and holds Bachelors of Arts in English Language and Literature as well as Music from Mount Holyoke College, where she studied under Linda Laderach. She continued her musical studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she earned her Master of Music in violin performance under the tutelage of Elizabeth Chang.
She has performed at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and the Somerville Theatre. She has held concertmistress positions with the Mount Holyoke College Symphony Orchestra, UMass Symphony Orchestra, and has performed with the Opus One Chamber Orchestra, CalTech/Occidental Symphony, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Boston Opera Collaborative. She is also a co-founder and executive board member of the soon-to-be non-profit Chiron Chamber Orchestra.
