The love of music began for me at the age of eight years old when I was first introduced to R &B and Hip-Hop music. Over the years my passion for music has only inspired me to get more involved in the music industry however I could. I got into the music business by doing promotions and being the second lead street team promoter for an independent record label based in San Jose, California. There I gained the knowledge of what doing promotions and being a part of a street team initialed. I found a new hobby as a graphic designer where I made fliers for the music artists that were on the label. These fliers were to help promote the artists next performance, single and albums. I also made backgrounds for the street team members MySpace pages and fliers for the street team members to print out to help promote the artists’.

The longer I did promotions for this label the more I knew that I wanted to be apart of the music business and wanted to start my own artist management company and eventually my own record label. In order to be successful I knew I needed to learn more about the music business.

I started my education at Rogers State University and then on to Full Sail University for a degree in Bachelor of Science in Music Business. I graduated with a 3.9 gpa, received five Course Director Awards and Valedictorian of my degree program.

I am currently working on starting up my own artist management company and record label called Star 1 Entertainment Group outside the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.

Music is a big part of my life and being apart of it is a dream of mine that is finally coming together! I strongly believe in working with an artist as a partnership not a business deal, which is currently taking place in the music industry today. I am also looking to change the relationship between an artist, their management teams and their record label.
