Imagine a rain storm. Better yet, a hurricane. You get the front end of the storm, the break, and then the last “boom” before it dissolves. Well, my writing is exactly like that. I get an idea, and let it pour freely onto the page. And then I stop. I’m stuck, I can’t think of anything else. So I go to something new, like a storm goes to a new region, and leave the other at rest. But not for long. I jump from one idea to the next and then jump back. I never rest until the storm has had its final strike. My writing is the storm, a very inconsistent storm that is.
