I was stumbling around Vancouver, delaying school and graduation; the only place I could get a paying job was in a bar. I found an advertisement for a position at a yoga studio. It paid in yoga, not money; as a proclaimed Marxist, I thought that was the absolute coolest! An exchange of services: my labour for yoga classes. I worked reception for 4 hours, once a week, and slide headfirst into yoga and yogic culture.

I'm new to navigating the world as a yogini and a blogger. It's all very exciting. I like to take risks and do things that make me feel really uncomfortable because I can check in with my biases. As I begin to explore the 8 limbs of yoga, I push myself and I explore myself. I'm a perpetual work in progress. Let's connect.
