I decided to further my career and go back to school in my 30’s with three active daughters, a husband, and a full time job. This has proved to be more changeling than I thought. Some people thought I was nuts, they still do. My long term goal is to earn my Master’s as a Licensed Private Counselor (LPC). Right now, I am currently working on earning my Bachelor’s. When I tell you I started at the bottom, I am not joking. I had never stepped foot on a college campus before I hit my 30’s. I barely made it out of high school alive. I was the worst student. I hated everything about school. However, as I grow older and wiser, I learned there is something to furthering my education. Of course by the time I realized this I already had a very busy life. Being a good mother to my three daughters is always my number one focus. I have an amazing relationship with them and I plan to keep it that way. I also would like to keep things going good with my hubby, so I need to make time for him too. I don’t want just a marriage, I want a relationship with him. I also have a full time job that requires a lot of my attention. So here I am trying to juggle it all. This blog is my way of sharing my experience with other moms who may be trying to juggle it all as well. Now I know our everyday lives may look different, but we are all still moms trying to do the best we can and not lose our minds in the process.
