Growing up in a suburb of Princeton my interests included playing made up games with the neighborhood gang and gardening. Now all grown up, I have three passions: being active, nutrition, and nature. As I got older, I realized that all three are deeply interconnected. On top of my various positions in nutrition education and research, I work each summer as a farmhand at Stults Farm, a small produce farm in Cranbury, NJ. I am interested in sustainable food systems and how the issues of food insecurity, obesity, and environmental destruction can be ameliorated simultaneously.
