I am the creator of a documentary entitled, The Last Summer: The True Story of Easter Seals's Camp Hemlocks.

I have always wanted to be in the film industry. I wish to create documentaries and/or epic films. My favorite directors are Peter Jackson, Roland Emmerich, James Cameron and The Wachowski Brothers.

I have overcome many challenges which have strengthened my character and resolve. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and use a power wheelchair for mobility. At age 21, I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. I am also a survivor of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. (ARDS) I am not ashamed to tell these personal details to the world. I want to prove that people like me can be productive members of society and help make positive changes in this world.

I am currently in the process of investigating graduate schools. I wish to pursue an online MFA in a writing program. I am excited about the possibilities and opportunities that an MFA would open for me.

My hobbies include loom knitting, camping, fishing, computer gaming and discovering new technologies. I have a particular interest in assistive technology for people with disabilities. I also enjoy retrotechnology - using older technology to do activities I used to do when I was younger. My favorite retrotechnology involves using emulators to play classic computer games: Oregon Trail, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego and The 7th Guest, just to name a few!
