As a recent PhD graduate with over 10 years laboratory experience, including two years as an academic postdoc, as well as earlier technical roles, I believe that I have many relevant talents that would allow me to translate into a non academic role. Key skills in the laboratory include tissue culture, cell differentiation, cryopreservation, immunocytochemistry and confocal microscopy, flow cytometry plus scientific writing and public speaking in scientific outreach. I also have a wealth of experience in the training of new staff and students, allowing me to develop my people management ability. Communication and organization are key skills that I have developed over the years and I would like to further develop them in a dynamic and challenging position.
