Before meeting my wonderful husband, I was a single Mom with two jobs. I was always driven to make ends meet and give my son all that he needed. When my son, Derek turned five and started Kindergerten, I enrolled in night school to continue working on my degree. I then went back to school full time at Schreiner University while continuing to work multiple part time jobs to make ends meet. It was at Schreiner where I met my husband, Chad.

Derek and Chad became instant buddies, and to this day, they are still very close. I graduated Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.62 and was consistently on the President's List for academic achievement. While at Schreiner University, I even walked onto the tennis team at age 28 and played for a year and a half.

I graduated with a BA in Exercise Science, and I have been in and around sports all my life. In an effort to stay in a sports related field, I became a teacher and coach. I've been with Fort Bend ISD for over nine years now, and I have coached a range of sports including tennis, volleyball, basketball and track. I also spent a few years coaching a club volleyball team and organizing tournaments for the Southwest Juniors.

I've enjoyed my time with the kids but am interested in finding a new niche in life. I would like to stay in a sports related field, and I'm very intersted to learn about who I should contact to continue exploring new opportunities.
