Designer, Student, and Artist in Chapel Hill, North Carolina
I am a designer, student, and artist currently living in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
I am the person you can always count on. I am a person of determination and mindfulness. The day I turned eighteen I applied for the position of server at Chili’s. I committed myself to this company, becoming a hope captain for St. Jude’s.
I am a person of perseverance. I left everything behind and to escape my homelife and discover the clarity I needed to pursue my studies. There I found CSTEP and the school of my dreams at UNC.
A new journey, Performance Theater infused life into me. Here is where I found the emotion, empathy, and understanding I had been seeking. There is nothing as rewarding as connecting and being understood. In Wilmington, I was fortunate enough to assist with DREAMS, an afterschool program focused on the arts and the underprivileged. Working with these children solidified for me there is great inequality in this world.
Performance is a way to bridge this gap, to find commonality with those who never took the time to understand.
UX Design for Social GOOD blends my love for people’s stories, connection and the digital world. My work focuses on blending and bridging this gap, to create a healthier world mentally, physically, and emotionally.
