I am a classical singer and Vice President of Arbor Opera Theater. I studied in Italy for a semester while in college and became innamored with the people, the culture, the language, the history and the breathtaking natural beauty of the country.

For the last 15 years I have traveled extensively throughout Italy, often alone....wandering the beautiful streets and drinking it all in. I have also organized and led dozens of trips with small groups of enthusiastic, curious travelers who want to experience Italy the way an Italian does. I pride myself on sharing a more authentic Italian experience with my friends and travel companions. I have wonderful Italian friends throughout Italy and a trip with me allows you to see things you would never experience in a normal tour group.

I have been organizing trips since 2006, all word of mouth up until now. It has never been a business for me, rather a labor of love. I have recently become fascinated with the Island of Ischia. It really is a gem that is not to be missed.

While Ischia is my latest passion, I am open to requests for travel throught Italy. I know Venice like the back of my hand and rent gorgeous apartments there for my groups, complete with dinners cooked and served by me on the rooftop terrace. I studied in Florence and know the region of Tuscany extremely well. Rome and the Amalfi coast are near and dear to my heart and I am also quite familiar with the Lakes region, also Sicily and Calabria. If you have an interest in visiting any of these areas, please don't hesitate to ask. I often have several people interested in visiting the same region, then I begin to organize a plan for us all to go and visit it together.

I am happiest in Italy when I have groups to share it with and this new venture is a means for me to continue to find enthusiastic new travelers who would like to experience Italy, not just view it as an outsider and tourist. I love watching my travel companions become truly immersed in Italy and the Italian lifestyle, and experience it an a much deeper and much more lovely level. I am fluent in Italian and have wonderful relationships with many hotels, restaurants, proprietors of vineyards, olive oil pressing associations, and so on.
