Christine Piper

Despite my exotic beginnings in Asia, from the age of one I led a fairly mundane early life in suburban Sydney (lamb chops for dinner and a Hills hoist in the backyard) until I graduated high school, travelled and lived overseas. I recently relocated to the US to work in publishing. In 2013 I completed a Doctor of Creative Arts degree at the University of Technology, Sydney, for which I wrote a historical fiction novel about Japanese civilians interned in Australia. I like finding quiet pockets in big cities and grand designs in nature.
