I completed my MBA at the Saïd Business School focusing my studies on social enterprise, marketing, and branding. Outside of the lecture theater, I engaged in dance performances and sports, finishing first in rowing at Europe's largest inter-MBA sports tournament.

Just before business school, I worked for WITNESS, an international organization co-founded by musician Peter Gabriel that uses video to oppose human rights abuses. I managed the board of directors and relationships with other key stakeholders, organized events, and coordinated outreach campaigns and fundraising projects.

I graduated from Barnard College and then worked as the Production Manager for the college's Department of Theater. I next worked for Learning Matters, Inc., a nonprofit production company focused on education, where I produced weekly podcasts. I also contributed to segments for "The NewsHour" on PBS, including "Lessons of War" a profile of an elementary school located on Fort Bragg and "Stricken Schools" a series about the reopening of public schools in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. I have also worked with DCTV, Cinetic Media, and MTV Networks.
