Christine Pauls

I'm Christine Pauls, a Delawarean, born and raised in the city of Wilmington. As a self-published author, my first novel, To Begin Again, was released in April of 2012, but the manuscript was completed a little after my 50th birthday, back in December, 2010. It is a story about a girl’s journey from a teen into young adulthood. She is raised by her aunt, Ruby Stanton who is a strict and religious woman, that has raised her birth after her mother, her sister, died in childbirth. Life lessons will be learned, as my character Celeste Stanton’s choices force her into adulthood more quickly than necessary, and her eyes are opened wide as she is unprepared for what lies ahead. But the tools of her upbringing that she so rebelliously tries to ignore, come in handy as the road she travels take several detours.

I have released my second project, Belinda's Song, this Summer, 2015, which is a novella, and is a heart-wrenching tale of a child's life events, after her mother is murdered when she was six years old causing her to become a ward of the state of Louisiana. My third project, One Good Thing, is in its beginning stages, and will focus on three sisters from Lula, MS, whose life lessons of love, heartbreak and secrets will cause them to have to finally learn to trust and lean on each other. You can find my books on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Kindle and Nook devices. My books are also available in my hometown's public library in Wilmington, DE. I am continuing to learn and grow to become a better writer.
