Let's be honest: my life has mostly been a series of self-promotion and self-serving means. However, in teaching, I find that it is all about the students, and that is what I enjoy. I teach students primarily how to prepare for the expectations of college and life. However, the actual classes are called photography, yearbook and broadcast. In addition, I am a big supporter of teaching students social media in schools and making sure every student reaches towards and hopefully meets their potential. I also dabble in my own photography, having been ensnared by the pretty little boxes my family used as a child and have since learned to love Polaroid, Holga and, most currently a f/1.8 lens. Furthermore, I am a student of God, having received my masters from Brite Divnity School and having focused on teaching people about religion and inter-religious dialogue. My current project is a series of photos of my family and helping my students place in photography, broadcast and yearbook competitions.
