Welcome to my mind! It is a strange but fun place. You'll get used to it. Feel free to roam around but don't mess with the furniture. I inquired with a few friends, co-workers and fellow civic group members to pick a few words that would describe me here are the most used words. Resourceful, neighborly/helpful, charismatic, knowledgeable, understanding, insightful, witty, and I will admit “goofy” was said but meant in a friendly silly kind of way. So therefore I am adding honest! Over the many years of experience I have the gifts and talents to bring people together for the better. I have done public speaking for many years for causes such as date rape to high school girls, keynoting for church camps, guest speaker for civic groups such as Rotary, Kiwanis and others. I am very comfortable speaking in public and with others and I am a great story teller. I am experienced in organizing fund-raisers, benefits, banquets, directing church camps, board retreats and mission trips. My qualities are that I take constructive criticism very well, get over “bad” situations or circumstances very quickly and always see the bright side to almost everything and believe there is a lesson to learn in every turn. I react well under pressure and am very resourceful on finding solutions and answers for others and I can bring people together. Skills, crafts and trades are that I am handy with fixing things, computer oriented, I read manuals front to back because I want to know everything a machine can do, I like gardening and can be very creative not in an artsy way but in coming up with a new way of doing the same thing over and over. I am glad you did not ask for weaknesses but I will share with you that I wear my heart on my sleeve and do cry at Hallmark commercials and my one of my biggest dislikes, beside meanness, is car trouble.
