Christine Clerk

I retrained in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 1979 then secured employment with an Electronics Company specialising in Research and Development of remote sensing equipment. I worked in the Drawing Office, preparing engineering drawings and printed circuit board artwork. I also manufactured completed printed circuit boards and front panel artworks. My training with Speyside Electronics Ltd. completed, I moved into Community Work both in a Voluntary capacity and as Research Assistant with the Community Programme in Moray. Deciding to take further qualifications I undertook an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and SCOTVEC modules in wiring and Test. I then worked as a Weight Control Engineer with McDermott's (Scotland) Ltd.
