Welcome!
"To realize the value of one millisecond, ask the person who took the silver medal in the Olympics."
I believe time is precious and important. Yet, you are taking the time to view my page and continue reading - for that...thank you!
In my pursuit of expanding my social network horizons, I wanted somewhere less formal to share my passions, opinions, and experiences from my career in Health IT.
Technology is a critical tool to foster needed innovation in healthcare. The modernization of healthcare has intrigued me and has been the driving factor for me to enjoy going to work everyday.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege to work with providers and their technology systems to find solutions that enhance their practice, workflow, and patient care.
Technology allows data (when used correctly) to come to life, improve lives, and save lives throughout the healthcare system. Awesome!
Technology can positively affect provider and patient lives with the click of a button (of course, the less clicks, the better), sharing of information, and continuous learning through use of data and research throughout the healthcare continuum.
Technology must be leveraged in healthcare without compromising the safety of patients and the trust of providers.
I currently reside in New York. The city, in all its greatness, is a "health IT hub" and I couldn't ask for a better place to build the foundation to my career.
I only hope to contribute and be a part of the expansion and enhancement to the framework for innovation and learning in the Healthcare Technology field.
Thank you for your time!
More to come!
