Christine Griffith
eCommcerce Partnerships, Fashion and Beauty, and Mother
Nice to me you, I'm Christine. When I moved to Chicago in 2003 from Phoenix, Arizona, I had my eyes set on living in a thriving city with diversity, culture, and opportunities. I graduated with a BA from the Art Institute and moved to New York for a short time, where I did my internship for Condé Nast. Under Jane Magazine, I worked on the SXSW and Coca-Cola Account foster my love of both media and fashion.
That remarkable experience and time led me to many great career opportunities in media, including O Magazine and Time Out, where I spent my career in advertising and marketing for a decade. My expertise in brand partnerships includes everything from fashion and beauty to tourism, dining, and family.
I've invested in the growth and strategy of many corporate entities for much of my life, but in 2018 I took my passion for creative space and retail and launched my first entrepreneurial venture, The Brown Girl Project (recently rebranded at BLK + BRWN Market). Through the pandemic, I was able to identify and address a need in the market and, more specifically, in communities of color. With BLK + BRWN Market, we are founding a movement to #gatheronpurpose with purpose.
I lead the way I want to be led with faith, integrity, and compassion.
