Hello Everyone. Welcome to my about.me site - this is my personal information - a little something to get to know me better.

I worked as an Accountant and Business Consultant for many years and retired in 2012 to become a full-time fiction writer. With a preference for literary and contemporary fiction, mystery/thriller and horror, I'm taking my lifelong hobby to the next level. My goal is to work with top-notch traditional publishers.

My first draft of a contemporary fiction novel was complete in 2014, but as I progress as a writer, I find I keep editing this first work to enhance and upgrade it as I improve as a writer. The second paranormal thriller novel is ready to query, and I am working on a third mystery novel. I write short stories and novellas and just completed a literary fiction short story for my website.

My horror novella "Scarecrows" was released on May 5, 2015 by Samhain Publishing, Ltd. Reviews can be found on the Goodreads and Amazon sites.

Living in south western Ontario with my husband, family time is always important and we enjoy lots of Bar-B-Qs and get-togethers with family and friends. We have two terrific sons, married to two beautiful women, and when you add three very smart and handsome grandsons you've got my family.

In my spare time I create crystal and silver jewelry and love to design and sew clothing. I'm an avid reader, music lover and artist. But my true love is writing - I can't write enough to get all the stories out of my head.

You can find samples of my writing on my website. Please read my blogs and short stories and let me know what you think of them. Feel free to criticize - I respect honesty and often learn something new to improve my craft. Compliments are always welcome and greatly appreciated.
