I am a person who is curious about a broad range of topics. I am PASSIONATE about learning. Every year, on my birthday, I set a new goal to learn about a new topic.

I am a middle school Special Education teacher and Teach for America 2012 Corps Member. So the oberservant reader may infer that I am patient and can tolerate unreasonabe amounts of pressure!

What I love most about teaching is, well, learning. My favorite part of teaching is that moment a learner makes a connection to the content or a concept and their whole countenance changes, it's epic because now there ispotential to change their LIVES! I feel so humbled and honored to be a part of that process.
