Christine Manolakos

Christine has been in practice for 20 years and is the principal Solicitor of CM Lawyers.

She established her practice in 1996 in Marrickville and she has dealt in the following areas of Law;

• Family Law / Family Lawyer in Inner West
• Wills in Inner West
• Criminal Lawyer in Inner West

During her period of practice she’s had a wide experience with the various areas of law that she deals in.

In 2003 Christine’s Partner and Husband, Alex Sapounas joined the firm. Alex’s background was in finance and accounting. Alex is now a Licensed Conveyancer with CM Lawyers.

Both the legal knowledge, expertise of Christine and the accounting and financial background of Alex has created a very strong synergy in creating strong legal advice to their clients.

Christine completed her Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Law degree in Macquarie University in 1991. Her background in Economics has assisted her greatly in being able to provide an all-round advice to her clients.

Christine has the ability to provide sound practical legal advice in the most cost effective and timely manner. Christine attends various seminars in order to keep herself briefed with the ongoing changes in the areas of Law that she practices in.

Christine has appeared in most Courts in Sydney with particular emphasis in the Family Court both in Sydney and Parramatta, the Federal Magistrates Circuit and various Local Court.

Christine is of Greek heritage and she is fluent in the Greek language and also has an associate Solicitor in Greece where she carries out work in Greece and other countries in Europe.

Christine has a family and enjoys the time that she spends with them, Christine enjoys music, reading, cooking and traveling. Christine also follows Europeans and Australian Soccer and sponsored one of the teams in the National League. Christine is also a member of Rotary Marrickville and was also involved with the Women’s Lawyer’s Association.
