Christine Qian He was born in Beijing, China, where she graduated high school in 2012. Her nickname is Kris. Before year one, she was taking the UBP course in Royal Roads University, which was a kind of preparatory course, which focused on listening and speaking, grammar, writing, Reading, and study skills. That was really helpful for her to adjust to a life of study in Canada. After the UBP course, Kris (Christine) started year one semester one. She had to learn five courses, which are Geography, Information, Technology, Writing and Canadian Study. Her favorite part was the field trip. Then she started year one semester two. Five courses that she learned are Communication, Writing, Philosophy, Math and Global Study. Kris is currently taking the Bachelor of Business Administration Program at Royal Roads University, and she is thinking about taking the Master of Business Administration Program. Her dream is to be a teacher, an elementary school teacher in particular. With her parents’ permission, after graduating from Royal Roads University, she wishes to take Early Education Program in The University of Victoria. This ambition was inspired her home stay family, who are elementary school teachers. Kris thinks early education is so important for every kid. After graduation, Christine plans to find work in Canada.
