A well-established and published writer, mother of four and full-time Marketing Executive born and raised in Guam. Christine’s tact for writing came in 2001, when she interned for a Southern California based lifestyle magazine, Palos Verdes Style and business industry magazine for the Torrance Chamber of Commerce. During her internship Christine worked as the editorial associate in addition to her writing duties for the magazines.

She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson, California in 2003. Her first career gig was with the Sharon Osbourne Show as the assistant to the executive in charge of production. After an entire season with the show, Christine was forced to change her career path when the show was not renewed.

What ended up a mixed blessing, Christine decided to return to Guam in 2005 and give back to the island that she called home. She then pursued a career in writing and public relations. Christine has written for numerous Guam publications including Guam Business, Directions Magazine, GUAHAN Magazine, Guam Family Magazine and Managu Magazine. She has also contributed to numerous corporate business supplements featured in Guam Business Magazine.

In 2010, Christine authored and published Chamorro-English children’s books titled, Meet the Mannge Manhoben and Kin’s Day at the Ranch in 2011, under her company writewordblackink. She intends to expand the Mannge Manhoben series with more books in the future.

Christine has over nine years of writing, public relations and marketing industry experience. She has worked for major hotel chains including the Sheraton and the Outrigger and marketed nationally known products such as Coca-Cola and Subway.
