Christine Scales

I'm a Master's Candidate at the Cooperstown Graduate Program with a passion for creating visitor-centered content in museums. My background in rhetoric and museum studies has taught me the importance of accessibility and audience awareness. I believe in using the power of storytelling, participatory programming, and technology to encourage personal connections between museum visitors and collections.

My interests lie mainly in the fields of Interpretation, Education, and Exhibit Design, although I love challenging myself to delve into other aspects of museum work. As a result, I also have experience in grant writing, nonprofit communications, collections work, research, and evaluation. Having a broad knowledge of museum work has helped me better understand how different elements merge and work together. I'm always looking for new skills and experiences to add to my tool kit.
