I am a technology lover working in the academic arena as an institutional advancement professional. I enjoy trying the latest technology for building and supporting online community - especially community that eventually brings people together face-to-face.

I love to read, and the web fills up what I thought was my insatiable thirst. I like to talk to people too, and sometimes lament that fewer people pick up the phone, instead of texting, tweeting or emailing. I like to solve complex problems.

I love my family, friends, and food, especially when all three are together.
