Christi Parsons

As a White House correspondent for the Tribune Company in Washington, DC, Christi Parsons provides daily coverage for eight Tribune newspapers, including The Baltimore Sun, the Chicago Tribune, and the Los Angeles Times. In this capacity, she has covered presidential travels, as well. The accomplished reporter’s resume also includes posts as Statehouse Correspondent and Political Writer for the Chicago Tribune. Recognized by her peers, Christi Parsons was elected to the board of the White House Correspondents’ Association, which has named her President for 2014-2015.

The Washington, DC-based political reporter earned a BS in Journalism and English, graduating magna cum laude from The University of Alabama. She received Outstanding Graduate in Journalism honors, and served as President of Sigma Delta Chi. Christi Parsons also completed an MSL at Yale Law School on a Knight Fellowship in Law for Journalists. Her accolades include recognition in 2008 as the Outstanding Alumna in Journalism from her undergraduate alma mater. When not covering the White House, Christi Parsons enjoys practicing yoga and reading.
