Guitarists Adam Keeler and Daniel Silverman are proud to present Christmas favorites on classical guitar this holiday season.

Adam has been playing guitar for 25 years and teaching for over 12. In 1999, he traveled to France to study under virtuoso fingerstyle player, Pierre Bensusan which was followed by the release of his debut CD, “The Rest of Angels” (available on iTunes). His CD has been favorably reviewed by such artists as Michael Manring and Pierre Bensusan. After switching to classical guitar in 2005, he became a finalist in the James Stroud classical Guitar for two consecutive years in 2009 and 2010. He was awarded the Outstanding Guitarist of the Year for two years in The University of Akron's Bachelor of Music program. Adam has been the Guitar Club President at the University of Akron for most of his college career and a former board member with the Cleveland Classical Guitar Society. He holds a Masters degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Akron and teaches at The Laurel School, Ashland University and The Academy of Culture & Arts at St. Sebastians Parish. His free time is spent with his lovely wife, Julie, and their wonderful boys Samuel and Benjamin.

Daniel studied with renowned guitar professor Stephen Aron at the University of Akron. His studies at the University of Akron versed him strongly in the traditional concert guitar repertoire, history of the fretted instruments, and plucked string pedagogy. While a student at the University of Akron, Daniel had the opportunityto perform in master classes with guitar titans Jason Vieaux, Roland Dyens, and Marco Sartor. Daniel was chosen, along with select studio members, to representthe University of Akron at the Columbus State University guitar symposium in Columbus, GA and the James Stroud guitar competition at Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Oberlin, Ohio. His previous positions include teaching for the Avon School of Music and for the Cuyahoga Community College preparatory Division. Daniel is also currently on the faculty at the Fairlawn School of Music and Hudson School of Music.
