Christof Chlebek

Karlsruhe, Germany

I’m currently a Ph.D. student at the KIT in Karlsruhe, Germany. Photography caught my interest 2006, when my brother bought his first DSLR. Only one year later, I had my own camera and have read a dozent books on this topic. To balance off my office-oriented job, when taking my camera, I really enjoy working outdoors and with nice and interesting people.

Being a passionate traveller, I really enjoy to explore new places, meet people, hear their stories, and learn about their cultural background. With this in mind, it comes only natural that portrait photography and taking pictures of interesting spots is what I mostly enjoy. But photography is not just a hobby; it helps me memorize moments and people that are dear to me. Every moment is unique, but the memory is transient and sometimes a picture is all you need, to make a moment unforgettable.
