Seoul, South Korea
I am a Software Engineering graduate from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and my goal is to land a related job within Seoul. My passion is more than just programming. I love challenging myself to new problem sets and designing solutions for said sets. Usually, I don't come up with solely new solutions that no one has ever seen before. No, no. I live by the motto - I don't make the things you use; I make the things you use better.
I grew up as a farmer in central Wisconsin. From that experience, I gained incredible work ethic that people admire about me the most; in fact, there has rarely been a time in my life where I wasn't working. After moving from home, I attended university full-time while concurrently working full-time as a Produce Clerk at the companies high-end store. With my work ethic, I gained an ability to work fast while maintaining finesse, and quickly was moved to Produce Lead as I took great care in my work.
I had never imaged that I would actually be able to travel due to extensive working. I also wanted to, and finally pushed myself even though I was concurrently working and attending university. When you dream you find out nothing is impossible. In order, I have traveled to New York City, Las Vegas, Chicago, Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul, Gyeongju (Korea), San Francisco, Portland (OR), and Oceanside(CA). After graduation, I moved to Korea and have been here ever since. And, of course, I have traveled within Korea.
Seoul is an incredible city, and it feels like it was built for me. You can name any aspect of a city, and I will tell you how Seoul does it better. I love every aspect of this city, and I cannot imagine leaving here for a long period of time. My habits, my goals, my life is now narrowed to the boundaries of Seoul.
But of course, I can still travel elsewhere.
