welcome to my page!

i am currently working as an external lecturer at the university of salzburg (austria) and srh university heidelberg (germany) as well as freelance science communicator, focusing on online communication for academic institutions in austria, germany, and switzerland.

until september 2021, I was a research associate in the field of american studies at salzburg university in austria, where i was awarded a phd in the field of american literary and cultural studies for a dissertation on transnational trends in the work of contemporary indigenous filmmaker from the countries we currently know as aotearoa/new zealand, australia, canada, and the united states.

from 2015-2017, i worked as a science communication trainee at the press and public relations department of the german research foundation (dfg) in bonn, germany. prior to this, i have gained experiences in the fields of science communication, journalism, translation (german-english/english-german), and copy-editing.

my studies focused on anglophone literary and cultural studies. before my phd studies, i have obtained an ma degree in "english studies and the creative industries from the university of salzburg as well as a ba degree in english and american studies as well as south asian studies from the university of heidelberg, germany. in addition, i studied abroad at acu melbourne, focusing on creative arts and culture.
