Christophe Guéret

Amsterdam

Christophe Guéret graduated in 2006 from the University of Tours, France. His research focuses on the design of decentralised information systems and the study of their societal impact, in particular less privileged parts of the world. Between 2007 and 2012, while working at the VU Amsterdam, he has been actively working on the interplay between Computational Intelligence and the Semantic Web (project "SOKS"), and the publication of Linked Data (EU project "LATC" and several W3C activities). He is currently leading the project "SemanticXO" aimed at extending the education software for young learners "Sugar" with a Semantic Web enabled data management stack. In 2012 he joined Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS) from the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences to work on the the publication of historical data as Linked Data (project "CEDAR")
