Hi there, I'm Chris! I'm a business operations consultant living in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. I'm passionate about startups & entrepreneurship and have spent a decade solving problems for companies ranging in size from 10 to 15,000+. I've found my passion for business operations over the course of 5 different startups (including 3 with international operations) and 2 large privately owned corporations.

I support founders & startups by analyzing the back office and driving efficiency, effectiveness, and cost savings. Over the past 10 years my work has supported the successful fundraising of over $100M from top venture captital firms and individual investors as well as multiple successful exits and an acquisition.

I've held strategic leadership roles as the Director of Talent & Corporate Controller to Stellar Labs (digital marketplace for private jet travel) and as Corporate Controller at Pinnacle Engines (cleantech automotive). My experience predominantly lies in finance/accounting, having managed external audit & tax with Big-4 firms, financial system implementations, budgeting, forecasting, transfer pricing, financial statement consolidations, and operational accounting. However, I've also been a hands-on manager of HR, IT, facility operations, marketing, logistics, and legal operations. At other startups including Oodle (Facebook’s marketplace), Vegware (green dining products), and Movoto (online real-estate brokerage) I've played more tactical roles managing all aspects of AR, AP, payroll, treasury management, and audit & tax.

I hold a BS in Corporate Finance from San Francisco State University, am a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and an active member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).
