You would think that after talking to thousands of people every year I would not find something new to talk about. I am quick with an anecdote or a short story. I have lived and traveled most of our beautiful country, seen parts of Canada, and Mexico.
However ...
I recently went back to school to work on a Bachelors in Science and who knows where that will lead. I have had this pull for the longest time, I think I would like to work with disabled veterans.
In 1997 I was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma about three months after I seperated from the USAF. They found a large mass in my chest. I went through chemo therapy and radiation therapy. Rounds 1 me. However, over time I have determined that maybe the Air Force had something more to do with my cancer. This is why I decided to go back to school to see if I can help veterans.
Gratuitous pizza plug. If you are ever in the Homewood area of Illinois stop by Aurelio's pizza for me, and tell 'em Joe sent you, they will understand. I love their pizza!
Since I am back in school, if anyone would like to give me money via scholarship or grant I will not turn you down. If I have to work for it I still will not turn you down.
