Le Rosey is one of the leading pre-university boarding schools with two campuses: the main one in Rolle by Lake Léman and the winter one in Gstaad, in the Swiss alps. We have 400 students from 60 different nationalities, none of which exceeds a 10% quota of the student body, and over 100 teachers. Le Rosey is a truly bilingual school in English and French and prepares students for the International Baccalaureate as well as for the Baccalauréat français with a high rate of success for admission to top universities worldwide.
I am a Swiss national, born in Geneva in 1953 to an English born mother now Australian and a French father. I am perfectly bilingual in English and French with a good command of German and Spanish, as well as of basic Korean.
I am Master of Sciences (M SC) in Economics and Social Sciences with a Major in Business Management.
I have extensive international experience in managing profit centres in the retailing of Luxury goods and leading large teams of staff to success in a spirit of trust and cooperation. My expertise is in Perfumery, Cosmetics, Fashion, Accessories, Jewellery and Watches. I have held many positions as Managing Director of profit centres in the Luxury sector in Europe and South Korea.
In October 2008, I relocated to Seoul coming from Geneva with my Korean wife native from Seoul. We were married in 1998 and frequently visited Korea since we met in 1996. We have a daughter born in 2001. Today, I am well acquainted with Korean culture and the way business is conducted in this country and in Asia.
In January 2012, I returned to my home country and joined the Admissions team of Institut Le Rosey in Rolle and Gstaad in Switzerland as Associate Director of Admissions.
I am very honoured to now be active in ultimate luxury, the education of children to become the World's future leaders, and in one of the most exclusive schools to be.
