Christopher Brammer

Croeso, I’m Chris, who has retired after a long and interesting career which encompassed: teaching (English, Media and Theatre Arts), office management and administration.

I now live in North Wales but formerly lived most of my life in the West Country and, briefly, on San Miguel de la Palma in the Canary Islands.

My heritage is Anglo-Celt in equal measure. I am interested in all the arts, gardening, and history. I’m also interested in genealogy and politics and I am a skilled amateur rug maker.

My current project is writing my third book on the history of my family. My starting point has been the sixty-four surnames of the people who were my four times great-grandparents.
