Christopher Cowdray

Christopher Cowdray has more than 30 years of experience working in the hospitality industry. He's held a wide variety of different jobs on all ends of the hotel spectrum. Including some time as the General Manager of Al Bustan Palace Hotel, and he was also the Managing Director of Claridge's in London.

After that he became the General Manager of The Dorchester Collection in 2004. A position that would serve him well as he would impress owners Brunei Investment Agency to the point that he was given the Chief Executive Officer position in 2007, a position that he still holds today.

Christopher Cowdray's 30 years in the hospitality industry has led him to professional recognition as well. He would win the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award at the European Hospitality Awards, in recognition for his stand-out performances as General Manager of so many reputable organizations.

Cowdray also has a position at Thames Vallen University, where he occasionally serves as an honorary professor, providing lectures about the hospitality industry, and managing a major hotel empire.
