Christopher Ghigliotty
Christopher Ghigliotty is an information security professional and an expert in securing Fortune 500 companies against internal and external threats. With almost two decades of combined experience in information technology, Christopher has built a reputation as a trusted partner among firms looking to maximize security while staying ahead of rapidly developing new threats.
Christopher is currently working at SeaWorld as a Security Engineer where he spends most of his time helping to implement a secure infrastructure. Some of his duties include Checkpoint Firewall deployment, Application Security review, and Application security management.
Prior to SeaWorld Christopher Ghigliotty was a Senior Operations Security Analyst with Fiserv. Christopher was responsible for implementing, monitoring, and configuring the secure PCI environment. Whether configuring a firewall, building new networks, or managing filtering devices, Christopher is passionate about ensuring absolute security in all aspects of the way Fiserv is run as a company.
Christopher is an expert in all open source tools associated with Kali Linux; Burp Suite Pro for web penetration testing; AppScan, Nessus, and Qualys scanners for web and internal vulnerability assessments; Tufin for auditing firewall rules and tweaking them to PCI standards; and Metasploit Framework to assist in exploitation and pillaging systems.
Prior to Fiserv, Christopher served as Information Security Analyst with AAA ant Attorneys Title Insurance Fund, Information Security Engineer with Ginn Clubs and Resorts, and Network Engineer with Advanced Micro Distribution Channels. From 1997 to 2001, Christopher served in the U.S. Army as an R.F. technician.
Christopher holds a bachelor’s degree in information security from Western Governors University. Additionally, he holds numerous professional certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker, Offensive Security Certified Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and many more.
