Christopher Saad
Brooklyn, New York, United States
Christopher "Chafic" Saad has always been extremely passionate for the performing arts since he was a child. His father operated a Las Vegas theatre on the island of Guam where Chafic was introduced to dance, Broadway, performance, magic, and percussion. Later Chafic moved to Austin, Texas to pursue an education. His mother secretly signed him up for the high-school marching band and naturally Chafic was drawn to the Drumline. After serving as Drum Captain at Lake Travis High School, Chafic was inspired to bring percussion from a mere afterthought to the main focus on stage. Chafic soon founded DrumJam, a high-energy theatrical percussion group with his brother Dylan and after several years of performing around Texas, they took their show global including performances on Guam, Hawaii, Japan, Okinawa, Korea, Dubai, Lebanon and the Philippines.
Chafic performed with the off-broadway show Stomp in the New York City Cast during several months in 2013 which he says is the most fun and challenging shows ever. He has also performed with other percussion groups around the nation including Molodi based in Las Vegas, Crew in San Diego, and Momentum Live in New York.
