Christopher A Boettcher, CCM, CCE, began his hospitality career in northern and southern California at fine dining restaurants and hotels. His experience includes the Sonoma Mission Inn, the Sheraton Hotel corporation, Four Seasons Hotels, the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles and the Fairmont Hotel corporation. In this tenure he opened two hotels; was part of a corporate standards team; earned culinary awards and was part of the team that attained the Mobil 5 Star award for 3 years straight at the Hotel Bel-Air before it was purchased for a record amount.

From 1994 to 2020, Christopher worked in the private club industry. Association service was an important part of his focus. He served on the board of the Wisconsin Restaurant Foundation and as a local chapter director and on several nation committees for the Club Management Association of America. Christopher gained his certification designation in 2002 after a rigorous training and testing program. Christopher attained the CCE designation in 2006.

In late 2019 his wife Deanna and he decided to start a joint venture applying both of their skills. Deanna has been a horticultural for many years. After an inspiring trip to Italy, they decided to create an Agriturismo sort of lodging experience. They now own Mar Vista farm + cottages in Gualala California.

Christopher enjoys running, hiking, biking, yoga.
