Chris is assistant musical director to The Showstoppers who recently improvised 80 musicals at Nimax’s Apollo Theatre in the West End, receiving 5-star reviews from The Telegraph, and The Mail on Sunday.
"Wasted" is a live rockumentary about the Brontë family, to be workshopped at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in October 2016 as part of their Brontë 200th Anniversary Season.
He has composed scores for two family musicals (The Borrowers/Midlands Arts Centre, Three Witch3s/Belgrade Theatre), adapted and reorchestrated music from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte (The Night Queen/Belgrade Theatre), musically directed and devised actor-musician arrangements for Tess of the D’Urbervilles (New Wimbledon Studio), created sound designs for many plays (Not a Game for Boys/King’s Head, Kissing Sid James/59e59, Terror Season/Southwark Playhouse, etc.)
