Jon Foreman, lead singer for the band Switchfoot, once said, "All music is worship. It just depends on what you're worshipping." I believe the same can be said about life. Every action, every word, every thought is a reflection of what you hold dear. What matters? What does your life mean? This is an idea I keep close to me in whatever I do, whether it be in my writing, my music, my relationships, or anything else. Every day, I hope to leave a legacy of spending time on the things that mattered and investing in what was right, not what was convenient or easy. My hope is that I can leave a legacy that is worth leaving, and encourage others to do the same along the way.
