Christopher Dabney, a four-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps 2nd Battalion,4th Marines recently spent time as a credit analyst intern at Ameris Bank in Gainesville, Florida. In this position, he reviewed credit history for bank clients in order to mitigate risk. He also worked with the bank’s loan committee in areas of cash flow analysis and debt service summarizations. Prior to his time at Ameris Bank, Christopher Dabney gained experience as an analyst intern at the Marine International Petroleum Company, Inc., in Toms River, New Jersey. He presently is completing his senior year as a finance major at the University of Florida.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Dabney is an active supporter of numerous charitable organizations, including the Disabled American Veterans Organization. He also spends time as a volunteer with the Bread of the Mighty Food Bank and as a mentor to children with various disabilities. In his free time, he enjoys target shooting and riding his Yamaha R6 motorcycle.
