With over 40 years of experience in banking, finance, and property development, Chris Back is a seasoned professional with deep expertise in commercial lending, structured finance, and large-scale real estate development.

Chris’ career began in taxation and commercial banking, where he honed his skills in credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial management. Rising through the ranks in a major bank, he held senior roles in commercial lending and asset recovery, specializing in liquidations, receiverships, and mortgage foreclosures. His extensive experience in corporate finance and structured lending eventually led him to establish his own finance brokerage, focusing on high-value commercial and development funding transactions.

Since the early 2000s, Chris transitioned into property development, playing a key role in large-scale residential projects across Australia. Between 2003 and 2007, he was part of a development group that successfully delivered hundreds of residential allotments in Queensland. From 2007 to present he has been an integral part of delivering multiple townhouse and subdivision projects in South Australia.

Chris holds multiple qualifications, including a Master of Business specializing in Property, a Bachelor of Economics, and a Bachelor of Accountancy. He is also carries the qualifications of Property Valuer aligned with the Australian Property Institute and has completed specialized training in finance, leasing, and securities.
