I earned a BFA in medical illustration from the Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA) and Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio and MS degree in computer science from Indiana University’s School of Informatics - New Media Program. Academic studies include: Biology, human/comparative anatomy & physiology, histology & pathology. These academic studies coincide with instruction in advanced techniques in illustration, graphic design and animation. “New medical technologies and treatment strategies are constantly being developed. My job is to convey my clients’ ideas by use of a broad spectrum of visual medial approaches. I continue to be educated in the industry’s most advanced techniques in complex and dynamic disciplines such as illustration and animation. My goal is to turn my professional expertise as an artist and communicator into a valuable resource for my clients." I am a creative and high-energy person who is intensely customer-focused. I have the ability to work well and contribute in a team environment as well as independently. I specialize in the dissemination of medical and scientific data to convey my clients’ concepts and interpretations using an array of advanced visual media techniques including: Surgical / Medical Illustration - Scientific / Biological Illustration - 3D Computer Modeling / Animation Graphic Design - Medical-Legal Illustration - Caricatures / Cartooning
