An economics graduate of Kingston University in Surrey, England, Christopher Michael Pan leverages more than 20 years of finance and banking experience in his career as a financial executive. Over the past two decades he has held leadership positions with numerous financial companies in major banking centers such as London, Zurich, and elsewhere. In addition to his degree in economics, Christopher Michael Pan holds an NASD Series 7 license, a Financial Planner Certificate, and a Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services Examination Module 1B qualification.
Christopher Michael Pan began his finance career in 1991 as an auditor in the Investment Group of international consulting giant Ernst & Young. He advanced quickly during his four years with the company and took on responsibilities that included controlling all stages of company audits from planning to completion. In 1995, Mr. Pan left Ernst & Young to take a Business Development Consultant position with Gill Dove & Associates, a role in which he worked with some of the world’s largest advertising agencies.
In 1997, Mr. Pan returned to the world of high finance, joining Barclays Capital as an Advisor. After a successful one-year period with the firm, he became the Vice President of the Client Services Group for Merrill Lynch’s London headquarters. Over the next three years, he managed more than $500 million in assets while consistently earning recognition for his performance. After leaving Merrill Lynch in 2001, Christopher Michael Pan held several other high-profile positions, including serving as the Executive Director of Regent’s College and as a Director for Credit Suisse. Most recently, he functioned as the Chief Executive Officer for Calypso Capital, a leading investment advisory company serving clients throughout Asia and Europe.
An avid athlete, Mr. Pan can often be found playing football, skiing, snowboarding, and participating in triathlons when away from the office. He also enjoys photography, foreign language study, and interior design.
