I am a 17 year old senior at Roosevelt. My grades tend to be between A and C. As a child, I loved the show 48 hours. It wasn't like the other crime shows with fake stories, these were real crimes and real detectives. I wanted to solve crimes and help victims like the policemen I watched. I have taken steps toward my goal by taking classes like principles of law, law enforcement, law enforcement 2, court systems, and forensic science. I was also a member of a police explorer program. As a police explorer, I was taught how to clear corners, hostage negotiation, and bomb threats. Overall I had a great experience with program and feel better prepared.I have already started applying to Sam Houston university, and want to major in criminal justice. My prior work experience as a waiter has taught me how to be professional in the workplace. I am mature, punctual, and reliable.
