Christopher Princess Chidera

Princess Chidera is a dynamic young professional and the visionary founder of the PC Institute of Writing, Africa (PIWA). Within just two years, she has made a significant impact in the writing space, transforming it through her dedication and innovative approach.

As a professional book editor, Princess Chidera has collaborated with over 30 high-profile authors and worked on over 45 manuscripts and 70 articles in the past nine months. Her keen eye for detail and ability to transform dead manuscripts into powerful books have earned her a stellar reputation in the industry. Her work not only enhances the quality of the manuscripts but also brings authors’ visions to life.

Princess Chidera founded the PC Institute of Writing Africa (PIWA) in 2023, one of the continent’s rapidly growing writing institutions. At PIWA, she is committed to training writers, ghostwriters, poets, and editors, nurturing them to reach their full potential.

Through the Pen Up Drill Initiative (PUDI), a subprogram of PIWA, she has trained over 270 individuals through her group and private coaching on writing, public speaking, poetry, and book editing. These individuals are now making significant strides in the writing industry, a testament to her effective training, leadership, and mentorship.

Princess Chidera is also the convener of the 360° Student Webinar, one of Africa’s growing enterprises. This annual virtual summit, held every first weekend in January, focuses on training undergraduates from various institutions. In two cohorts, she has successfully trained students 169 students from 45+ institutions across Nigeria, as well as countries like Mali, Ghana, and Senegal, Her commitment to education and empowerment is evident in the reach and impact of this initiative.

Holding a BSc degree in Biochemistry, Princess Chidera has also pursued numerous certifications in the writing space, enhancing her skills and knowledge. She has received awards for her contributions to the literary world and has been recognised for her excellence in the field.

Having spoken on over fifteen stages, her diverse talents include being a Spirit-inspired poet and a gospel actress, having featured in three movies to date.

Her dedication extends beyond her professional endeavours. She has garnered several volunteering certificates from recognised institutions, demonstrating her commitment to giving back to the community.

Her hobbies include reading, editing, praying, and smiling to credit alerts.
