Christopher Pruitt, PhD

I am a recent doctoral graduate from the University of Georgia; my PhD is in applied mathematics with a concentration in fluid dynamics. I have several other degrees including a Master of Applied Mathematical Sciences from the University of Georgia, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Jacksonville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Jacksonville University. My girlfriend & I transplanted ourselves from Florida to Seattle, Washington, and I am seeking a career opportunity in writing or editing, as that is one of my passions.

In my spare time I enjoy making progress on the novel I'm writing, brushing up on site design techniques, and blogging about adventures in the kitchen with my girlfriend. I especially enjoy reading works from some of my favorite authors - Neil Gaiman, Stephen King and Lewis Carroll. In fact, I am a collector of first edition works from Carroll. I also love scouring vinyl and thrift stores to find and collect great records.
